Description

About us

Here at Hot House, we’re home to some of the UK’s most exciting beauty brands. Our portfolio includes St. Moriz, the award-winning self-tan and SPF brand loved by beauty enthusiasts and professionals alike, and Kids Stuff, our fun and colourful bathing range designed especially for little ones.

We’re passionate about creating high-quality, innovative products that make beauty enjoyable, accessible and effective. As our business continues to grow across retail and international markets, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team and support the smooth running of our day-to-day financial operations.

About the role

As an Accounts Assistant, you will play an important role within our Finance team, supporting both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities while helping to ensure our financial records remain accurate and up to date.

You will manage shared finance inboxes, respond to queries, raise purchase orders, reconcile supplier statements and assist with supplier payment runs. You will also support the maintenance of pricing files and sales ledger accounts across our e-commerce platforms, ensuring information is accurate and current.

Alongside your day-to-day responsibilities, you will assist with month-end activities, bank reconciliations, and a variety of finance administration tasks. This is a varied role that offers excellent exposure to different areas of finance and provides an opportunity to develop your skills within a fast-paced and growing FMCG business.

About you

This role would suit a recent graduate with a relevant degree, someone studying towards a professional qualification such as AAT, or an individual with previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant or similar finance role.

You will have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing accurate work. You will be organised, proactive and able to manage your workload effectively to meet deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will work closely with colleagues across the business as well as external suppliers and customers.

You will be confident using Microsoft Excel and have a positive attitude, a willingness to learn and a desire to develop your career within finance.

We are passionate about our people and proud to be an equal opportunities employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all.
